Rookie Reporter Troko follows Tokoro Yui, a literature lover who enters Sakuraba Academy, an elite school whose teacher is a mysterious student of her favorite author whose identity is never revealed. When the leader of the literature club poses a challenge: reveal who the writer is if you want to enter the club — Yui joins the school newspaper club as a rookie reporter. Throughout her investigation, she discovers more than just the writer's secrets and begins to understand what it means to be a true journalist amidst the conflict of academic elites — can she uncover hidden truths and earn the spot in the club she's always wanted?
