Bukit Kepong
The story of the struggle of the police force and the local community in Bukit Kepong, Johor against the communists in 1950. The climax of the battle took place on February 23 at the Bukit Kepong police station which had 18 members. This film depicts the bravery shown by the police force, even though they were attacked by 180 communist terrorists, but they still fought to the last drop of blood to defend the country. Recently, United Studios Sdn. Bhd. has launched the movie Bukit Kepong in HD (High Definition) format which has been restored and remastered - undergoing the restoration process. Scratch removal, color grading, noise reduction and mono to 5.1 audio as well as the addition of sound effects. The restoration process was done by Prodigal Lab Sdn. Bhd. and will be distributed by United Studios Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of KRU International Sdn. Bhd.). Look forward to this film this August, in conjunction with Malaysia National Day.
