After the Storm (Umi yori mo mada fukaku)
Ryota (Hiroshi Abe), a former award-winning writer who is now a gambling addict detective, tries to reunite with the family he neglected. After his father's death, his mother (Kirin Kiki) and ex-wife (Yoko Maki) begin to move forward, while Ryota is trapped in regret. When a stormy night hits, he gets a last chance to repair his relationship with his son. Can a storm clean up the messy past?
